We are pleased to announce the 8th International Symposium on the Plant Hormone Ethylene will be held June 21 to 25, 2009 on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. The Symposium will be an excellent and exciting opportunity for scientists, professionals and graduate students interested in basic and applied aspects of ethylene biology to come together to share research results and ideas regarding this important plant hormone.
The Local and Symposium Organizing Committees look forward to your participation in this meeting and to welcoming you to Cornell University. Abstract submission is now open and registration will be open by mid-January. The deadline for early registration and for abstract submission is April 1, 2009.
Housing is available either in on-campus residence hall or at on-campus or local hotels. The Cornell campus is located in the Finger Lakes region of beautiful central New York, approximately 200 miles (320 km) from New York City.
