8th International Symposium on the Plant Hormone Ethylene
Housing
Beebe Lake Falls on the scenic Cornell campus. |
This page contains details of the housing available. Housing bookings will be handled by the Cornell conference center, starting in mid-January, via a future link on this page.
Participants can choose residence halls or hotels. We recommend the halls of residence, because they provide a coherent community close to dining facility and the conference site.
Residence hall accommodations are comfortable, modestly priced and within easy walking distance to all symposium activities. Some halls of residence rooms are air conditioned. The price for the halls of residence rooms includes an extensive breakfast buffet. The halls of residence rooms are a 10 to 15 minute walk from the conference rooms over one of Cornell's spectacular gorges and waterfalls.
We've also reserved 10 rooms for conference attendees at the luxury, on-campus, Statler Hotel. They will be available on a first-come basis as below.
For others who desire hotel accommodation, an additional 20 rooms have been reserved at Courtyard by Marriott, and again can be reserved through this site. However, it should be noted that this hotel is about 3 miles distant with a shuttle service available to campus. Breakfast is not included for those who stay at hotels, though each has a restaurant or café on site.
