Fruits as Ornamentals
Pest resistant varieties of many other fruiting plants are available, such as:
- Concord and Niagara grapes
- Earliglow, Scott, Allstar and Northeaster strawberries
- Killarney and Royalty raspberries
- most blueberries, including Duke, Bluecrop and Blueray
So, it is not true that fruiting plants are unacceptable choices in the landscape because they require excessive spraying.
